hi Guys. re:2.8 jtd Manual gearbox I am entertaining converting my auto to a manual. What do people think about the manual gearbox? I have come across one but it doesn't seem to shift into the gears properly. Clutch seems to work. But i can only put into 1st gear or neutral. Is this a linkage problem, hydraulic problem or is the gearbox itself

Hello, I have a 2.8 JTD Automatic Campervan. The Auto Gearbox warning indicator sometime stays on when engine is started. The manual states this is overheating of the gearbox, but this is not the case as engine is cold and been stood for days. I spent the night trying various websites for answers but no one seems to have had my problem in a Fiat Ducato with Comfortmatic gearbox! Incredible since there are so many on the road. The vehicle is a 2016 model, 3 litre 180, never had any problems until now and regularly serviced, last one in October last year.
